The best way to start is to call an Axiom Mortgage Consultant for a no-cost consultation. Collect the these essential documents to prepare for your consultation:

  • W-2s from all employers for the last two years
  • 2 years personal tax returns if self-employed
  • Pay stubs from all employers covering the previous 30 days
  • Bank account statements for the last two months

There may be additional documentation needed, depending on your specific situation. Your Mortgage Consultant will tell you what other documents you may need.

Step-by-Step

We keep our clients informed regarding the status of their loan, every step of the way. Below is a step-by-step timeline of the process of your home buying transaction.

  • Gather your documentation to share with your Mortgage Consultant
  • Meet with or call your Mortgage Consultant and complete your application
  • Get Pre-Approved!
  • Choose your Real Estate Professional to help you find a home
  • Find your perfect property and make an offer
  • Your loan has already begun processing
    • Appraisals, flood certification and other needed items will be ordered based on your purchase contract deadlines as required by the Underwriter
  • Underwriting reviews and approves your loan
  • Closing documents are prepared and sent to the Title company
  • Sign all your purchase and loan documents at your Settlement Appointment
  • Your loan will fund and your transaction is officially "closed"
  • You get the keys to your new home!
